The Evergreen Picture Framers Guild will hold its tenth annual education festival Sunday, March 23, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tukwila, Washington. Brian Wolf of Wizard International and Grant Smith of the Canandian Picture Framers School will be the featured full session teachers. John Ferens of Ferensoft, Paul Knoop of The Framemakers, Ray Miles of Nielsen-Bainbridge/Nurre Caxton, and Kiyoshi Toda of Accent On Framing will teach a variety of mini sessions. The event features a full day of framing seminars, buffet luncheon, framing competition, and a social hour. In honor of the tenth anniversary, the framing competition theme will be "TEN", and the competition will be open to the public for viewing in the afternoon.

Classes being offered are: Object Box Framing (hands on), Mat Decoration Using Panels (hands on), Faux Etching On Glass, Sanity for Email,Spam, Viruses & Pests, How To Frame It Correctly, Wheat Paste and Rice Paper Hinging (hands on), Stacked Frames, and Hand Carved Mat Decorations (hands on).

The cost to attend the festival is $120 and includes everything at the festival, the EPFG yearly membership, monthly newsletter, meetings, library priveleges, and getting to know a whole lot of nice people!
