Tut gave us the pea & Corn pattern with alternating color blocks in a gold boxing, and then there is hieroglyphs . . . other than that you would start talking Masidonian or Mesopotamian patterns for anything from that region.
Gothic patterns have their birth in the mechanical drawings from the bored scribes of the Grand Bazaars...
