Last call for registration of 8 different classes with the Evergreen Picture Framers Guild 14th festival on Sunday, March 25th at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila, Washington. All day affair includes door prizes, vendor giveaways, breakfast, lunch, snacks, classes, free drink with appetizers, fun with your fellow framers, print competition, Nona and Baer for two of the classes.

I would like to attend, but I have to find out first if my partner is being called into work over the weekend. I won't know for certain until Friday. Is that going to be waaay too late?

Sorry the "Bare Fisted Bad Design Mud Wrestling" event during lunch has been canceled due to lack of bad designs in the Pacific North West.

The "Print" is a Mattel "Hot Wheel's" vehicle. I'm sure we'll post pictures.
 
As Baer said, show up and you have a slot to take 2 wonderful classes. If you can bring a check for $175.00 it would be helpful, if you need to use a credit card I will run the amount through my store credit card account on Tuesday. Of course cash buys you an extra free drink!

Heard you talked to my sister Liz over on the peninsula. She's very excited about Sunday. Wish I could go too, but my ruby slippers quit working years ago! Harder and harder to get back to the Emerald City!

WHAT?!?!?!?!

The Bare Fisted Bad Design Mud Wrestling Event has been canceled???????

But I was entering my incredible "Homage to the Seattle Slam" snow globe entry, complete with glitter snow and mini hotwheels cars smerching around when you shake it up!!!!

And I was also going to include my awe inspiring giant red poppy from my entry a couple of years ago.

It ain't fair! I've worked so hard on my designs!

Well, I guess I will just have to go for the great classes, the delicious food, the incredible companionship, the free drink, the "good designs", and the door prizes.

See you all on Sunday!
 
Lildab - we always do this festival in March so next year plan a visit with sis and come and join us. Nothing like stirring the pot of framing issues during happy hour!

Well, you know if it weren't for the glorious sunshine with a nice ocean breeze to keep things under control I would be there but.......OK family vacation takes priority. Enjoy all, and hello to those I won't see again this year!:beer:

Phoneguy Canuck - WE MISSED YOU this year. Family first though. Nona Powers did a fantastic job, Baer was, well Baer, we had a marketing plan, web site profiles, integrated framer demo, photo restoration, etc. And 23 door prizes. Nobody went home hungry, the hotel food was great. We have a new president, Molly Boone, new vp, Leslie Duarte and two new board members.

See you next year unless you come on down to Mt. Vernon/Burlington in for the July meeting.

[for those who don't know June, Compulsive Obsesive NEAT Freak comes to mind.... 2 years ago I tracked muddy oil in onto her carpet.. I spent the first hour cleaning carpet.. she's never let me forget.... and I love them dearly.... and she uses their toy poodle to "urge" people to behave.. :party:]
