Edge finishing.

I am trying to get a very smooth edge on one inch thick acrylic pieces. I have heard that there is a machine that cuts and finishes at the same time therefore eliminating hand buffing. Does anyone know of this machine, or is there another way I can finish these edges. This is my first time at this site, and am finding it very interesting. Thanks. Harold.

Welcome to the club Harold. I've never heard of such a machine, but would be interested in it myself. I would imagine that it uses some sort of heat to polish the edges as it cuts.
