I received an e-mail seemingly sent by Earthlink asking me to verify my account information (again). The page sent was very well done and looked very official with all the appropriate logos, links, disclaimers, etc.

I contacted Earthlink directly (NOT through any links on this received page). They are investigating, but be forewarned: Earthlink believes that IT IS PROBABLY A SCAM!

Just as a reminder, don’t click on any links on the page if you receive such an e-mail. Contact Earthlink directly (or any ISPs) if there are any questions or concerns about your accounts.

I got one from CitiBank today. It was VERY legitimate looking. Except for the fact that it said it was to reset my PIN for my ATM/Debit card. I don't have one, though I do have a CitiBank credit card. The link appeared to be to https://www.citibank.com, but the actual link was to a numbered url. I forwarded it to their spoofed email department. They have a whole raft of previuosly reported ones.
