Here's the background:
A customer wants to duplicate signing board mats, and then use them for giveaways (he runs a charity, has the requisite duplication approvals, etc.) ... I figure that if I had DaVinci software and a suitable printer I could scan in the signatures and print the matboards ... but I don't have this set up and his quantities alone wouldn't make it worth investing ...

So here's my question ...
Does anyone know of a commercial service to help duplicate these signatures on matboards; or does anyone have a DaVinci setup who would be willing to work with me on this deal?

Thanks

If I get this right you want to scan in signatures and print them out? Isn't that forgery? How would the end consumer know the signature isn't an original?

<small>Maybe you could call Donald Rumsfeld, I hear he isn't using his signature machine anymore,

Sorry, my bad!

No it's not "forgery" ... apart from the fact that signatures are duplicated all the time (on loads of prints for example), the mats are not for sale in this case ... they are being given as gifts ... the signatures are all from people in the organization that is presenting the gifts ... as I said before, all have given approval for duplication of signatures.

Would it be possible to print out the signature pages on a decent rag paper and then mount it to the matboards and then cut the openings?

Seems like most paper I buy these days is called "acid free" and I imagine a Kinko's or a place like that would have the capability to print small runs of larger sizes.

CA, scan the mat and picture as one. (FedEx/Kinko's) and print as one JPEG, only slightly smaller, and ColorPlak as momentos....
