I've had my used dry mount press for about 2 months. I've been using with great success.

Today, while trying to dry mount the temperature won't stay heated during the vacuum process.

The procedure I'm doing:
1. turn on press
2. heat on
3. set temp
4. enter temp (215)
5. wait for press to get to 215 (no issue there)
6. put item in to be dry mounted
7. program 4
8. enter
9. Vacuum turns on, psi 27
10. process starts
11. temp starts to proceed downward

Realtime....there is 4 minutes to the process yet and my temp has been steadily declining. The temp is now at 170. (the vacuum is still at 27)

Can anyone give me any suggestions as to why this is happening?

The process just finished...the ending temp 161...???

Of course I'm leaving for Vegas today too....lol of course. :)

Does anyone know who I would call for tech support for VacuSeal? I tried the number on the back of the manual but it's disconnected. I'm trying to find a phone number for Bienfang but I don't see a website coming up for them.

I took a class last year about dry mount troubleshooting and maintenance with a lady named Wendy who pretty much knew everything about dry mount machines. I have her business card at home, I can message you her number. She said she can talk people through just about anything when they need help. I believe the class is being taught again this year if you can fit in in. As someone who is not mechanically inclined, it helped a lot.

Just set time and temp and don't press program. Your program 4 may be set to a lower temp and over riding the prior temp setting you entered.
