Double-sided frame

I would like to use a 3" deep moulding, back to back to make a double sided frame. There would be glass on each side so viewing would be the same from either side. I would like to be able to easily open it if necessary. Your expertise would be appreciated.

You could consider hinging then together (barrel hinges) with (rare earth) magnetic catches.
