My DeWalt saw has just died and I’m forced to look at a new system. I know I can purchase a new saw at Home Depot but then I would have to take it to a machinist to punch holes into so the Phaedra scale will fit.
A few years ago I met the people who bought out Phaedra I almost purchased a new table and accessories from them. Now that I NEED them I can’t remember the name of the new company.
I’m also interested in any advice to what saw/vacuum system I should look at.

I have a double Phedra system I would make you a good deal on. It has 2 makita 10'' saws and is practically new. It is mounted on two matching stands that butt up to each other and have levelors on them to make it easy to set them up. Would be difficult to ship but could possibly be arranged. $700 where they are in Tallahassee,Fl.

No need for a machinist... The alloy used in the DeWalt's base is pretty easy to drill the holes needed for the Phaedra. I may have some templates for the hole positions, depending on which saw model you end up with. It you find it's time to upgrade, there is always Clearmount's system. Hope that helps you out.

ditto...I drilled into the base of my dewalt saw with just a regular drill and drill bits.

Before I bought my double mitre saw that I have now, I had the phedra system with a dewalt saw and I replaced the saw about every 2-3 years, because it died like yours. So I would get used to changing the arms from saw to saw, otherwise you have to buy a new saw and new arms each time it happens.

It’s my understanding that the company is gone. Are you familiar with Clearmount ?

Try pamfast.com. They make the measuring grids. Not sure about anything else.

do you have the clearmount scale? If so do you like it?

I have two Clearmount scales.
One in the shop (double arm) and one at home (single arm)

I did have to drill holes to make the one at the shop work with the DeWalt 10" saw I bought.

I've been pleased with the system.

Is there any other company other than Clearmount? (that would be in that price range)
