Scattered all over the globe, vast numbers of Irish people and those of Irish descent are bonded by blood and by spirit to this little country. The Gathering Ireland 2013 is about reigniting that bond through a multitude of events, or Gatherings, driven by groups and communities of every kind.

I've just been at a launch of this initiative this evening and am wondering if we could arrange some "picture framing" related event here in 2013. Perhaps if some framers were planning a vacation in Europe , or considering visiting Ireland in 2013, maybee there could be a get together in Carlow Ireland......perhaps some sharing of framing ideas / practical workshops / framing business ideas etc etc.....and some socialising..!!!
.If there were a number of people interested in something along these lines, we would be happy to host and arrange it.

Hi Tom,

Cris and I just came back from a 10 day trip to Ireland. We both have a wee bit of Irish in our blood. It was our 1st anniversary/honeymoon, since we didn't take one last year. What an amazing trip! We stopped to see a couple of framers, but it was a 4-day bank holiday because of the Queens Jubilee, so we missed everyone!

Keep us informed of your plans, because we definitely plan to return again to your beautiful country.

“The gathering Ireland 2013” is a bit like the gathering of a clan, however for 2013 it is going to be huge, it is a gathering of the Irish clan in it totality ……there is going to be a huge party in Ireland….

ALL are welcome, even those who can only aspire to be Irish…..it an open house in Ireland for 2013 :smiley:
