I hate to cry wolf about something already exaggerated greatly by the media, but this is a real infection and it only takes a second to make sure your PC or MAC is clean. The FBI estimates that there are about 277,000 computers still out there which are infected.

You can visit this website, to make sure your computer is clean of the infection. http://www.dns-ok.us/ If it has a green background, you are fine.

If you are infected, here is a fix: http://www.dcwg.org/fix/

Mike- I clicked the dns-ok link you posted and just got a blank white page.
I followed the instructions on the FBI page for checking the domain numbers in the Mac System Preferences network area, and mine looked to be in the normal range described, not matching anything on the "bad numbers" list. Do I still have to figure out how to check the router?

(I have two Mac OSX machiness connected with a router to a common DSL modem.)

Thanks.
