Janet...just so you are aware, they have been having issues with their sanding disc not sticking to the plate. I recently bought a new machine and the discs were cupped, they wouldn't stay flat on the wheel.
I complained to ITW and they sent me out a new set of discs. The new discs were perfectly flat. I believe the box they ship them in is part of the problem.

Thanks, Mark. When I buy replacement discs, I'll make sure that they're nice and flat. I've heard this complaint from a few framers..and I've seen pictures of sanding spindles with shims!!!! EEEEk!

We had this discussion with one framer recently. Solved the problem by removing the wheel and laying a piece of glass on it with a box of glass on top of that. It stuck down perfectly flat.
