Hey Grumble,
I was just calling in one of my weekly orders and needed to get a new carbide glass wheel for my Fletcher 3000. Previously, I had always just specified carbide wheel and Fletcher 3000 and gotten my order. This time, however, I was asked what degree I'd like for the wheel to be.
I've done a bit of sleuthing around the Fletcher Terry site, but I can't seem to find any information about what the differences between the different degree wheels are.
I also found an old grumble thread where the different degrees of carbide wheels are discussed, but only in the context of cutting guardian glass. I couldn't find anything else after having googled for a bit.
So, grumble, what's the difference between the different degree carbide wheels and what do you use?
