Dell XPS 10 Tablet

Dell’s XPS 10 Tablet a Laptop / Tablet Hybrid I feel that this will be a game changer when it comes to using tablets for business applications, it will allow for greater use of business applications.

Running on a Windows platform should be very appealing for integration into existing business applications.

I love the way the external key pad also acts as a cover.

Thoughts comments!!!

Does RT allow installation of "normal" Windows applications?

IMO it rather defeats the purpose to have a removable keyboard/dock - if you're going to use it you have to keep it with the *pad, which means you might as well drag around an ultralight laptop. If you're not, it's just a *pad and the keyboard is a frill.

thought tablets were not for business, and were gimmicks for consumers

but agree with above dell tried this before in the past few years, and it failed bigtime

I said I feel it could be a game changer and in the past I also said until a pad can intigrate with existing business platforms they will not succeed for business applications.

Dell are a much change business on what they were a few years ago, they are moving away from consumer products they are focusing on business applications the XPS 10 Tablet is for business applications, I cannot see to many consumers buying it.

We will see where Dell goes with this, I suspect they have a winner......big time...... I wish I could say more, however I'm restricted about what I know on this subject....... give it six month's and we will see.

Lest anyone think that Dell is doing something original, their table is just another version of Microsoft's Surface. Not kncoking it, just saying.....

Well i think that the dell XPS 10 tablet would really be an extravagant working sort of thing and the sleek design is also a bit of unique and the keypad / keyboard pad looks like unique thing so i m really hoping to be looking forward for using it.....
