Found a deal this morning, which expires 1/26:

PS: This is not a commercial post. I make nothing if you buy this. Just passing deals along, as I find them, which may be of interest to framers.

THANKS MIKE!! I was just thinking about your posts with "Mike's new PC deal of the month" and bingo there it is. Mine just died and you are right, it's perfect.

Thanks, Mike. My husband needs a new computer and this sounds really good. Just to let you know though that it expires today, so if anyone is interested, better order it today. I'm now going to go watch the Eagles game.

Jay:

AGP - Accellerated Graphics Port, just for graphic cards (i.e. you can't put a new network card in an AGP slot)

PCI-E - PCI Express, the next generation slot for add-on cards, which all high-end ($100+) graphic card makers are now supporting..

PCI-E's are still pretty new but most new systems coming out this year will have them since they provide faster access to the memory and CPU for add-on stuff, and aren't limited to just graphic cards.

But like Mike said, the only people who would really care are gamers that need, and are willing to spend extra for, the additional raw power...
