How would you suggest mounting silk paintings from India. Not much border, and needs to be flat beacuse it has been rolled. Pinning will pull threads. Help!

Ant- reflective overlay, preferably Optium.

If there is enough margin, another option might be the tight-fit method.
 
My guess is that the textile conservator here would attach crepeline borders with one of the BEVAs, then use those to put it down to a covered board with more BEVA. She'd be happy to look at them. Consultations are free. We're about an hour away by car.
