OK, maybe not DEEEP, but deeper than I can find. We're looking for a floater frame, black, deep enough for a 2.5" deep piece.

We'll stack something if necessary, but I'd rather do a single floater.

Suggestions?

Thanks, Tony

Tony, You can take a wide flat moulding* and make a floater out of it using a strainer frame behind the stretcher. Just turn it on its side. You can either use the original back of the moulding as the face of the floater (more of a strip moulding look) or you can paint/stain the rabbet and make an offset floater.
*Nurre Caxton 434 series "Woodland" in 8 finishes. I'm sure there are others but I just met with their rep on Thursday and they're fresh in my head.
