Hi!
Decor can do that, Decor can not. Depends. HOWEVER! Becky--the "Beckinator"--if she is your rep--will go to the nth degree to help you! I recently had a customer order a Decor frame that the sample I had was gold with red undertones and a greenish stripe. When the chop came in, it had dark brown undertones and a blue stripe! She rejected it! For good reason!
Well, Becky took the old sample I had with the red and green and personally brought it to the main warehouse to find the "old" red/green moulding. She thought she had, and had it shipped to us. Not so much. Customer rejection again.
Moral of the story is: Becky, working for Decor went WAY above and beyond, but Decor still failed.
But it isn't necessarily Decor's fault: they have to find the best manufacturers of their line somewhere on the planet. Decor wants to be the cheapest, but still have "quality." So they have to concede. And compromise. Raw manufacturers come and go, (in third world and developing countries) so Decor's quality comes and goes.
I'm glad you had success, and I know that I can work with them to get that success, too, IF I don't have such a fussy customer next time as I did in this situation! She seems to LOVE me, and my "taste" but she keeps coming back and thinking and re-assessing and NOT deciding. How did she ever get married? Hee, hee!
