I really didn't think December would be a very good month. The election woes, threats of "recession" buyer woes at the Malls, etc... But December turned out to be a great month ending a great year for us. The Holiday rush didn't hit us til the week just before x-mas and we were ready.
I hope the season was good for all fellow framers. Best wishes for the New Year!

Our December, while not as phenomenal as last year, was still a great month and the year closed out very well, if a hair less than the year before. A lot of work to be picked up is rolling over into this year... it's done, but still here.

We're still way over the figures we did two years ago, so I'm happy for now, but want to do even better next year! I guess I mean this year.

Our December wound up being the best one ever; and the same is true for the year. Sales are up about 12%. Like Greg the majority of business came the week before Christmas. Nearly killed us but we were ready and finished on the 22nd for pickups only on the 23rd. I closed from the 23rd to Jan. 2 but don't feel like my batteries recharged enough. For me and my staff I think it's important to relax and get those creative juices flowing again. Of course we hit the ground running yesterday but I'm not complaining.

Up 22% in Dec. Customer traffic was down but sales were up as people spent WAY more on each piece... go figure.
