Earlier today I came up with an idea for dealing with small items that we get in for framing until they are ready for framing. Use a 3 ring binder and heavy sheet protectors. This will allow you to keep track of small photos, cards or artwork that can often hide when it is put into a small envelope in a flat file etc.

We use those too. The big difference is that the sheet protectors live in a binder that is harder to lose. :P

I use a box with hanging vertical files........ and just write there name on a lable and apply it to the right file folder.

We sve the heavy envelops that most diplomas come in to store small pictures and other items in. They work real well and you can tape the ends closed so that nothing escapes. They are large and heavy enough that they can be stored in the rack with other foldered items waiting for framing. That way everything is in one location.
