Day before Thanksgiving, Lets build something....

So we finally got around to moving our framing area to a better part of the store, and why not the two days before thanksgiving for doing it? The door mechanisms and the counter were built yesterday by our carpenter (who also happens to be my brother) and the corners were moved today by our LJ guy. Now it can be seen from outside the store and we've gotten several WOWs! There are going to be some signs and some more sample frames up, but here it is for now...

(for those who dont know, we are a photo lab/studio/ camera store that added framing 3 1/2 years ago when we moved to a bigger location. Its was tucked into a small area with a small counter. Its been doing well, so it gets its own area now -my shop is upstairs and is also our studio)

so far so good! A guy just left, lives around the corner, never knew we did framing, has some autographed masters flags and photos and will be back with them, thanked me for moving the area up front so he saw it. Couple regulars came in too, loved that they werent being bumped into by photo customers and had a bigger counter. Yay!
