Dandy Dauber contents

I know Dandy Dauber is out of business and neither United nor LJ handles them anymore. I was just wondering what was in Dandy Dauber, a stain? Or maybe a watered down latex or acrylic?

What are people using as a comperable replacement?

Not sure about the Dandy Daubers, but the Daubers from Decor are stain.

I buy Daubers from Decor moulding. I sometimes use colored markers on the edges of the moulding before I join them.

I use Minwax stain markers.

Artists' acrylic paint can be made to behave like a stain if it is thinned with water and then with alcohol.
