Cutting hardboard

A heavy duty wall cutter is on my list but I wont be buying it today. I would like to trim the board after the print is mounted so I feel that a hand tool will give me better control than a saw.

The hand tool for scoring plexi will eventually score thru the board. Of course use a straight edge to guide the cutter. Also possibly a linoleum knife as it has a hook to the blade.

what about a table saw with a thin kerf/100 tooth/veneer(?) blade???? should do it up proper

Possibly because a table saw isn't a HAND tool which is what was he asked about. I'm sure he knows a table saw will cut hardboard quite nicely.

Neither is a wall mounted cutter a HAND tool.

Got it??
