Searching For Custom size mitered corner with compo ornamentation

I have a customer looking for 5'x6' mitered corner frame with corner ornamentation to hide the miters. I have been through the closed corner route with them. They seem to think this option may be less expensive. I have plenty of suppliers with the standard sizes of these type of frames, often imports from Mexico. Does anyone know a supplier to get a custom size made?

Munn Frameworks will do that with Munn metal leaf chops and a selection of compo ornaments. It's not Mexican import prices, but less than Munn closed corner. Shipping is significant in that size. They'll sell you the compo ornaments separately if you can handle installing them.

There are also several companies (names escaping me now) where you can find tons of compo ornamentation. Just heat and serve, I mean, steam and apply.

Of course you would have to finish the frame then......

Or hey, the customer could finish it.

How cheap do they want it to look?

Bomar and Decorator's Supply are two compo sources.

You could, depending on what frame is for, do something creative with paint finishes or composition gold to keep cost down. This sort of project would not be technically difficult, but will take a lot of your time/space.

Thanks Pat. I think that Munn will be able to offer me a few more choices. I do not want to finish, join, apply compo. I want it crated and shipped to customer completed and I'll go fit it on location. Thanks to all for weighing in.
