I'm speechless.

;)

Very cool indeed. Painting to fit the frame, I was wondering what you would come up with...I like.

Is that your own work?

Yes indeedy!!! I have done Sci-Fi fantasy art for 25+ years now...As my actual profession(there ARE monsters under my bed,I put em there...). L.

I love the embellishments you did on the frame corners!

As for Cthulhu, I may have to sleep with the light on tonight....Brrrr!

I think that octopus should be playing the harp.

Oh and - yeah - anyone can disguise bad mitres with ornamentation!

Well - anyone that can do ornamentation - but I could pay someone, if I knew anyone.

What a cool painting! Only thing I would do now (if it were me, ya see) is bring some of the colors over into the frame and the corners. I would not be able to stop myself!

Great job all around!!!

Hey,Those mitres were FINE....Just bloody boring looking.I had to re brad nail the thing (from the front,it`s hollow backed),BUT I`m skilled enough for that. All mock suprise aside,it was beautifully mitered, broken apart(it fell some time)..But all the grooves lined up exactly!Nice job at some point. P.S. heard from the friend that "donated"..It is from a hotel in Cincinnati,Oh,possibly the 1920`s..had a painting of a lady in Arabian knights type garb.....And some BAD paint jobs along the way...pink,yellow,blue,and white...too banged up to bother with stripping back to the dark cherry stain, too bad. Also to bad I can`t read the pencil signature on the back either. L.

Gorgeous and well done. That would look lovely in my home next to the sweetly framed portrait of Linda Blair in all her Exorsist makeup.
