Well tonight is my first artist reception since I opened. I'm a little nervous, but I think things will go well.
Heather's dog photos are up and they look incredible, now I'm debating about getting more wine, making my "office area" look nat and framing a few last minute items.

We do have a special appearance by Ernie & Rosie, two shitzu's she photographed whose image has been well seen in town. I'll try and post their pic's not my strong suit.

So please wish me luck and I'll try not to crack nto the wine too soon...at least not while I'm framing!http://www.hbtphoto.blogspot.com/

Well I've included her blog link, the top photo we used for the show card, and E&R are next! :D

Steph, You'll do just fine - wine always helps!! It's a party, right!?! That's how I look at it. Enjoy and let us know how it goes. Take lots of pictures!

Best of luck, Steph. I'm sure it will be a huge success.

Good luck Steph! You'll do fine, don't worry.

And, it never hurts to have too much wine (and crackers / cheese..).

Excerpted from a joke my dad sent me:

Ladies: Freeze leftover wine in ice cube trays for easy use in soups, sauces, or stews.

Real women: Leftover wine?

Just don't bring up scientology or Tom Cruise & you'll be fine.

I like anything involving wine or cheese for that matter. Have fun. Would love to see the photos.

Rats....I already made the sign!LOL

Thanks everyone, leftover wine...its coming with me baby. If I ever froze leftover wine , it would be in a popsicle I could enjoy by the pool.

how did it go??

The show was a HUGE success! I couldn't have been more pleased and I should have some pics soon. Yesterday, I felt like a wet noodle all day, but it was worth it.

We were wall to wall for the whole show. A huge showing of prof. photographers and framers as well. I even had a couple of people bring in frame jobs for me to do whatever I wanted with...cool. Also, snagged some good future accounts out of it as well. Heather no doubt will gain more commissions out of it and we sold a fair amount of her Easter cards too.

Everytime I think of how the night went I want to cry, I couldn't have asked for a better evening. Her family which owns a great bakery in town put on a fantastic spread and there was plenty of beer, wine and coffee too.

I think yesterday I was just too overwhelmed with emotion to post, also had a great day for orders coming in too.

Thanks for asking and thanks all for the great support and encouragement.
