Cresent Corregated

What is the story on Cresent's MX series of corrugated mat? I know it is with the paper buffered, but since it does not seem to have a core, how acid free is is? I have used it for an inner mat. It looks nice cut on the bias as an under mat but I wonder about the acid content.

It is probably no better or worse than all the other decorative mats - buffered and temporarily acid-free, but certainly not archival.

Ron is right Sharon. Treat it as a buffered paper mat. If you need some protection use a 1 or 2 ply rag underneath.
