yes you can (because I'm planning on writing it soon).
You need to contact PPFA; they will want you to arrange a procter to sit while the exam is going on. It can be at a school or library.

I did it. Just contact the PPFA, tell them you want to take it online and they will hook you up

Thats awesome I had been planning on taking it in on Nov. 6th in Oregon but that still like a 8 hour drive from my place in WA.

In addition to the convenience factor of being able to schedule the exam at a time and date that's good for you, you also learn the results of the exam after you take it. No more waiting four to six weeks!

Well it wouldn't be so bad but I'm all the way up in Bellingham and I have like 3 jobs. So I don't have alot of extra time on my hands, if I do come down for it I'll stop on by.

Is this a new thing? When I took it a couple years ago it was at a Prometric testing center, and I had to wait a few weeks for the result...

Yep, you still have to wait for the results. Not like the computer tests etc they give at the centers as well.

Yes, it's fairly new. Under the newer system of online testing you get your results as soon as you finish the exam.
That was under the old Prometric system.
