A number of Australians and New Zealanders also monitor this forum, and for their benefit I share the following information concerning the <u>The Art & Framing Trade Fair</u> to be held in Brisbane, 12-14 July 2002.

For the first time in a number of years, PPFA's CPF exam will be offered. It can be taken on site on Saturday, 13 July 2002.

CPF Brochure, Study materials, Registration form and a Book Order form, can be obtained from the PPFA / PMA office in Australia....

........Just a reminder that the cutoff date for the Australian exam is June 28th.

I'm also aware that details are being worked out as to the where and when for the CPF exam to be offered at AFEX in Toronto this October....stay tuned!

What about writing the test online? I heard that this was going to be an option soon as well???

I've heard that on-line CPF exams are in the works, but that it isn't going to be a "take the test from the comfort of your own easy chair" situation. It will be monitored (as it should be.) It probably just means that the exam could be offered in more locations with more frequency.

Personally, I think it's pretty hard to beat the traditional CPF experience: Sitting in a hotel conference room with several hundred other framers after partying late into the last two or three nights, while living on coffee and donuts. Now THAT'S a test!
