Hi All,

I'm looking for a source for corrugated metal frames. I've had one come in the shop for a repair and enough requests to start looking for a source. The few that I've seen are rusted or look new and are simply cut with a torch or plasma cutter and mounted on a wood frame that has been painted black to minimize its appearance.

I tried searching the site for any info so hope this isn't a repeat question. Thanks for any help!

We have made our own in the past. Kind of reverse of what your talking about though. We framed the piece in a simple black moulding then screwed that to a sheet of corrugated steel that was larger (3"around) then the frame. Cool look and the customer was happy, but still a PIA to cut the stuff.

Laville was very accomodating. I have sold two. One for a print by a famous New Orleans artist (Rodrugues-Blue Dog) and the other was used to frame an oil of a junk car.

They also carry barnwood in unique colors.

When the customers saw them it was love at first sight.

We've done ok with Laville. They're unique. We've sold a few of the corrugated over the years & the're usually for pretty good size pieces. They make moulding of recycled window moulding that our customers really seem to like, they've done well & we have sold some of the frames they make from the decorative tin ceiling tiles too. Now we carry some of their table top photo frames too. In fact just today we sold one of their larger profiles for a very primal looking Cuban oil painting by an artist named Lazo if I remember the name right. Really nice people to deal with at Laville.
