I have a customer who would like to have a mardi gras mask framed and he would like to hang it in the corner. Does any one know of a frame that could go into the corner? Or any suggestions on how to handle this one?

A.wise this is a common variation. You just turn the choosen moulding on it's side and cut the same 45deg cut .This is dependent on inside or outside corner. You join the TWO three sided frames at the side cuts and hang them in or around the corner. I am sure this has apperaed in Decor at one time or another and is very similar to the method used to make boxes from frame moulding. In fact if it's a Mardi Gras mask it probaly will require a shadowbox type moulding.
This could complicate the project esp. if its an inside corner.

We did this some time ago by getting a triangular plexi box made....though I don't recall all the fitting logistics, how we handled the strainer aspect.... I'm sure a frame could be added to the face.
