Just a reminder that the PPFA Consumer Awareness Committee has produced two Facebook pages for our customers to glean ideas from. I put the following in my January newsletter:

What happens when a group of Professional Picture Framers get together and create a Facebook page? A very interesting group of framed examples! We hope you enjoy the first two idea-packed pages:

Get Framed! Military Memorabilia

Get Framed! Sports Memorabilia

Please feel free to add your best examples. These pages are growing with some really great creative framing examples. Thanks to Sheila Pursglove, Mary Fender, and the whole group for thier efforts on this project.

I really think there has to be more to "good" framing than shadow boxes!

Hey finally something more! I was thinking of possible other pages for you guys, take it or leave it!

The reason I suggest these is because, so far every "Get Framed has been shadow boxes. I think there are many other possibilities.

Get Framed and Matted, showcasing matting options, in painting, custom fillets (Barb Pelton's) and fabric CMC and hand carved mats.

Get Framed All Star/Stunt Framing/Framing Showcase or whatever didn't find a good name for it yet. Featuring one of kind frames. This would be great for most old competition frames.
