Question conservation tape?

Hey there, could somebody please tell me if I need to use conservation tape for the back of the frame as well, or just standard backing tape. Thanks it has been a very long time since I have had to conserve anything, and want to get it right.

If you mean by the back of the frame ....the outer part that is on the wall side...

A non archival / conservation tape should be fine....

This brown gummed tape is used widely in the UK and Ireland ..

there are other tapes also available which can be useful if the possibility of damp wall is an issue...
