I had a customer call me today and wanted me to blow up a picture to a 18x24 size poster. Do any of the grumblers do this or know of any companies that will do this? I don't have a large printer but I referred her to a business here that does.

Any good photo-processing store ought to be able to do it. Barring that local option, you could use a company called Digital Custom. I use them for a variety of things, and they pretty much always are miracle workers.

It can be done at pictopia.com they are great.

Yeah, that's no hill for a stepper at Digital Custom!!!

We could do it but I would also suggest Digital Custom.

Isn't it interesting that the customer thought of you for a photo enlargement instead of the many photo shops out there.

Opportunity Knocks.

I had framed some photos for the lady last year, so she called me. I have thought about getting a larger format printer, but the one I want still wouldn't print the size she needed.

Thanks everyone!

Joe, I use a place (probably in your area too) that does enlargements for:

  • 11x14 $3.87
  • 12x16 $3.56
  • 16x20 $6.34
  • 20x24 $9.58
  • 20x30 $11.66
You can add your own mark-up. I have no problem marking these up in the same general area as you would for similar price point moulding. Don't want to expose to much on a public forum.
If you want contact info, you can PM me!

Doesn't Wally World offer that stuff in their photo department?

I routinely print posters and large photos for customers and also use digital custom.
Anything up to 42" wide x whatever length.
Also office max usually prints wide format.
