Hi again grumblers,
I am looking for a perforator used in mounting high gloss artwork and photos. I tried using 2 awls and making a hundred little holes in the glue tissue but the inevitable result looks like a ton of 'dust bumps' after the mounting is finished. Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

I don't think that perforating Colormount is necessary. I believe it is what is called a breatheable tissue. I have a perforater I bought years ago when I started using laminate material, but no longer need since laminate comes pre-perforated.
Give us a little more to go on since there are a bunch of variables in any kind of dry mounting. What kind of press, what kind of substrate, release paper/board, etc? Somebody around here will be able to come up with some helpful info.
