I can only speak for my local branch. The Phoenix crew takes good care of me and they make it easy to work with them. They distribute mouldings from the manufacturers and have a decent array of selection. They've had some trouble in the past with some mouldings but were quick to right any wrongs.

I have been dealing with them for many years and they are top notch. Every branch I have visited or had contact with has been very helpful. Jim Miller, (not the same Jim Miller who is on here) the owner will go out of his way and I have never had anyone say any negative things about them. My local CMI branch has a staff with an incredibly high sense of proprietary interest, outstanding service and extremely competitive pricing. Usually those terms are mutually exclusive. CMI also stocks hard to find BLACK hardware.
 
I stop by my local branch about once a week. Everybody there knows my name. I haven't had any trouble with them. They carry some really cool unique designs. I also like that I often see Jim Miller (the owner) working along side the rest of the crew. The place has a real family feel for a national company.

We use the local Phoenix CMI distributor on almost a daily basis. (along with LJ, Valley )
We get what we need at a fair price. They're not perfect, but who is?
Sometimes we get products delivered and sometimes we pick up at will-call.
We are lucky to have CMI, LJ and Valley distributors in our area for local pick up if necessary.
