We attended the Vegas Show and were impressed with the Fletcher and Eclipse CMCs. We will be purchasing this year, what is your recommendation?

I've looked closely at both the F6100 and Eclipse Pro from a hardware & software standpoint. Although both are excellent products, I give my nod to the Eclipse (software is easier to use and the unit cuts 8 ply effortlessly). I own some great Fletcher products (3000, 2100, print cutter, etc.) and have had very good support from the company, but in my opinion the Eclipse is a better machine.

Noticed your ISP--what in the world is "fakespacesystems?"

SOunds like an ISP a trekkie would love.

The only way to compare CMC's is to cut mats. Tuck some mat boards under your arm, go to a show, have some mats cut that you would do in your shop and inspect - there's your answer.

Don't forget to bring some 8 ply and cuts some ovals as well as rectangles.

Can't say anything about the eclipse, but I got my 6100 in October and I haven't stopped smiling. The manual isn't the best, but the machine is actually pretty easy to use. Haven't done much 8 ply but the machine has no problem with them.
