I would like to see if one of you with a cmc mat cutter with the pen attachment would interested in designing and cutting a mat for me. There would be four small openings (1 x 1.75). What my customer wants to do is have an antique looking design in the mat and then also have a name written in an antique looking script under each of the photos. Maybe by the time it was done it would maybe be about an 8 by 10. Please let me know if you are interested in giving it a try.

I can make a french mat for your project. It can be as simple as a line or two around the small openings, or a more elaborate watercolor wash and lines. I'd scribe the names in calligraphy. Again, it can be a simple elegant script or more elaborate font. I combine calligraphy with lines and panels frequently for other frame shops. Nice look!

If you are looking for someone to design and cut this mat you will want to contact someone with a Valiani CMC, because it will handle your problem.

If you only want one mat, this could be more expensive than having someone do it by hand.
 
Vallani or The Wizard 9000 can do this also. Call wizard ask them to refer you to 9000 owner in your area .
If you can not find some one I can do it for you but am running the layout & copy a 18 day backlog right now. Pm me I can send my email and you can send me your copy & layout lot of framers between here and you that can do it for you
 
Actually, pen-drawing tools are now available from all three of the major CMC makers. Regardless of CMC brand, the quality of the result depends on the expertise employed in creating the digital design and operating the machine.
