I framed this for my Daughter who's name is Christabelle.
She is now 25 years old. Graduated College Suma Cum Laud
Since we gave her such a great name we were always on the look out for books ,key chain, stickers or anything that had christabelle on it. As you can guess we did not come up with much..
Well I would get on ebay all the time & of course do a search for "christabelle"
One search came up "45rpm Christabelle" some guy in the UK was selling it I said what the heck...
The name of the song on the 45rpm record is titled "Christabelle"
Name of the group is "The Sorrows"
There was about a 10 year period in my Life that ironically she created me some great sorrow by not wishing to communicate with me.
About the time we were starting to communicate to each other again.
This record just seemed destined to become ours.
I played it and recorded it on cassette and gave it to her.We had good laugh over it.. (some day i will have to take it apart & rip it to the computer) Personnelly I think the band sucked...
But It now has meaning
Record cost me about $1.95 + $8.95 postage. LOL
Gave the it to her and as she unwrapped it I played the cassette on the stereo. Look on her face was Priceless!~
