I recently bought a double miter saw, which has caused the early retirement of my trusty Morso chopper and Phaedra/10" Milwaukee miter saw.

(1) Morso chopper with tall, moving rabbet supports, four sets of knives (all freshly sharpened). VGC...$1999.00

(1) Milwaukee 10" miter saw & Phaedra table set, including hold-downs and three freshly-sharpened, 100t, carbide-tipped blades for cutting both aluminum and wood...$799.00

If you need cutting equipment, these good tools will cover almost any custom framing requirements. They reside in central Ohio. Shipping is costly for these tools, so come and get 'em.

For digital photos & further info, email me.

By the way, when you compare prices, remember to include the value of the blades & knives. Each blade and set of knives costs about $200, new.

Mine aren't new, but they are freshly sharpened, and they have enough life left in them to carry most small-shop custom framers for about a decade.

I was saving for a new Ledsome, and that's still my dream saw. But what I bought is a 1974 Pistorius in basically good condition. It's all cast iron, no aluminum, with strong motors and tight bearings, and a deal I just couldn't pass up. All it needed was a few minor parts and some adjusting. Now it works great.

I'm still saving my lunch money for that Ledsome. Meanwhile, this old tank will do the job. And when I'm finished with it, it will still be a good tool for another framer.

jim when you get your ledsome let me know if you wish to get rid of the Pistorious. I think thay are good machine if taken cre of, I am sure you do just that.

thanks in advance.
