Chop saw extensions.

I'm adding a chop saw in my shop for small projects. I only need for it to be able to cut around 40 inched long and the moulding I plan to use will be less than an inch square. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to find extensions for measuring that aren't 6' long. I'll only have enough space for around a 40" outfeed, and maybe that much for an infeed. Emphasis on the maybe. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who I can call to order something with these crazy restrictions?????

Allen,
Any one of the prefab extensions can be cut down. Seems a shame though, and it would be like throwing away a percentage of your investment.
Take a look in the archives at Framer's home made mitering bench (way back in the Pre-Eggers days). Perhaps a solution for you would be to build your own.
