I'd be interested, but It's a little unclear what's going on any particular night?
Jim Miller in the Framer's Corner (PPFA forum) suggested trying to do a similar thing with Italian instead of Chinese?
I'm up for whatever. I'm flying in on Sunday, have Chapter Leaders meeting on Monday and then the sessions start.
I'll watch here and in the Framer's Corner to see what gets going.

Nevermind, Rob. I posted that suggestion after you said in a WCAF thread that there were no plans for a Chinese dinner at the PPFA Convention.
Go for it. Considering the good rate of class pre-registrations, I'm sure you could fill at least one limo.
You might want to post information on Framers' Corner, as well.

Italian works for me too - if you have a place in mind that is as inexpensive and the food as good as the Chinese place-
The average table last month's dinner was $18 per person inclusive of drinks, tax and tip- which by Las Vegas standards is a pretty good deal.
OK so I checked the schedule-
Monday night looks like a "good" night but someone already said they couldn't come. And the MCPF exam is being given. And I just found out that it is the Chapter Leaders and Board Dinner.
Tuesday night is the Face to Face reception which ends at 8:30 and it may not be PC to cut out early and there is usually food there.......(thoughts?)
Wednesday night is the Framing Competition reception and is the night we went last year....though this year it is Big Night with the Beach Boys (@$49 per head) so it may drain from the potential of people who would want to come.

OK....so I am proposing a dinner on Wednesday night after the Framing reception.
Is anyone planning on going to see the Beach Boys and would miss the dinner as a result?
How many are up for Wednesday night? Even if we don't have enough for a limo, we can still get a group together and cab it over. I'll also call my limo connection and see if they have a smaller limo for less $$.

Sorry, I had my fill of geriatric rockers limping around in spandex tight leather last Stuper Bowl..... 'coarse, I admit.... I never was a Stones fan.
I'm always up for Chinese. And maybe if PMA doesn't pop for the BBs tickets for the PPFA Board.... we might just get them too.
As for Monday night..... this year I don't see the Judges getting out much before "O very dark thirty".

Rob, as it turns out I will be at the show for the Face to Face and would love to join you all on Wed. night. Where would the limo be leaving from and what is the address of the resturant? It's been awhile since I've been to one of your famous dinners. It was fun, so I am looking forward to it.

I was planning on going on a "Surfin' Safari", but a nite of conversation about frames sounds like way more fun.
