Some time ago, whilst dampening a needlepoint for blocking, the unstitched canvas border turned GREEN, my hands went green, my blocking board went green, it came off on everything. But worst of all the lighter stitched areas also turned green.
We sell needlework - this needlepoint was not one of ours, but we tested ours from the same company and found some that did the same.
After some communication with the company, the dust settled. Now it has happened again, but this time the brown canvas colour, which is also a startch, comes off - leaves a mess and also reveals that before stiffening the white canvas underneath is a very inferior product.
'No names no pack drill' regarding the company in question, not in public anyway.
Anyone else come across this problem?
