"cheap" online software good/bad

just got this emailed today

prices are certainly CHEAP(didint go into it too deeply, but what I saw was amazingly low)

anyone know about them??? anyone know how to find out anything about them??? caertainly seems like too much of a good thing!

At that price, the titles are most likely pirated copies. Not only would you be buying a stolen copy and deprive the real owners their fair due, you would not be able to license it and get support should you need it.

These kind of companies usually fold up their tent rather quickly since the feds can go after copyright infringements rather aggressively.

Yea it's a hit and run thing, until someone shuts it down. They're letting you download (via high speed internet) pirated copies of the popular programs, without cd or documentation.

The fact that they're using spam to sell it should tell you something


This one appears to be based in India. (I said appears because it may be set to look that way, to throw people off)
