I was wondering how many of you charge for a minimum moulding length. I just located a way to do this in my POS system. I set mine at 6 ft.

No minimum length per frame; however, mats, glass, fitting and all other charges have minimums.

Ours is set to 4 also

Four is what most vendors charge if you where to order chop, I pass that along unless it's a moulding I have instock then I charge actual footage used.

Jeez Randy, for a 5x7 and you would leave 3' on the table.....

Same labor, and four just almost covers it.

There is a reason that vendors now have "Minimum orders" of $35-$50..... because they have to pay the labor of the person who goes and pulls the moulding and chops it.
S&H is and should not be part of that.

FORE!

:D

I charge whatever my particular supplier charges. Most are 4, and I think one or two may have 3 1/2.

Oh, I forgot to add, if it is stock moulding, I dont charge a minimum. Suppose I should.
