Searching For Channel Mounting Strips

Does anyone know a source for a matting/framing product called a "channel mounting strip?" At least that's what Light Impressions called it when they used to sell it; they don't seem to carry it anymore.

It is a plastic strip that has adhesive on the side that attaches to the mat. The other side is the channel which grabs the artwork and holds it in place.

I've attached a picture of one of the strips holding a painting.

I've found another product called a See-Thru Mounting Strip, which is similar, but not the same. I'd really like to find the channel strip, if possible.

You could do something very similar at very low cost with Mylar and 3M 889 tape.

This looks like a similar product. Do you have a closeup of a cross-section of the V-strip? How many mm of the strip is visible when holding an artwork in place?

The visible edge of the strip is about 8 to 9mm (3/8”)
