Chalkboard

Not sure exactly what you need. But if you google, there are several website showing up;

www.whiteboardsetc.com

has chalk boards as well.

There is also a paint available so you can make a lot of surfaces into chalk boards. I ordered some a long time ago for a friend through Dick Blick, but am sure there are local sources as well.

I used 3/4" plywood good both sides and painted the surface with two coats of chalkboard paint (available at a paint store).

They used to sell a lot of the oil based, but the water based paint has become more popular.

Be sure the wood is smooooth!

Harry,

Just did a custom blackboard for a restaurant
ordered the blackboard from bangor cork
we have used them before from cork board
I was very happy with their product.

Good Luck,

Although this probably won't help you Harry, I picked up an authentic old school one at a yard/antique sale. I have it in my kitchen and just have a blast with it. Each month we do an illustrated calendar. Chalkboards aren't just for little kids, they're for big kids too! (Selling point there...) We've done them with chalkboard paint, but personally I prefer the real thing. I'm going to bookmark Butch from Trinity's link as it sounds like a good resource.
