I have a new certificate from Denmark that has a nearly transparent parchment-like cover sheet. The base paper shows a detailed print of an etching of a cathedral organ. The cover sheet has the certificate info printed on it.
Customer wants to see the etching beneath the cover sheet, but the cover sheet is a bit wavy and diffuses the image beneath it. He suggested a glass sandwich, which I'm reluctant to do.
Any suggestions? The two sheets are attached at the top with 1/8" of a "pre-glued" substance. I believe this is a computer-printed certificate (both pages), but the signatures on the cover sheet are original and special to the customer.
I suggested a double mat and just accept that the under-image will appear diffused.... he'll go this unless there's a better way to do it.
Thanks.
