I need the best price I can get on corrugated cardboard protective frame corners for 300 frames. Any suggestions for the west coast (or maybe elsewhere) beyond United and LJ? LJs are prefolded, which helps. They are fine and we have used them in smaller quanitites, but now I need a better price.

Thanks

And he always brings treats from Trader Joes if he makes a in-person sales call.

Another vote for Tom Kedzie. We use the Black ones, same price but just look a bit upscale. They fold quickly and perfectly, unlike others we used where it seems as though the die is half a bubble off on every sixth one.

Quick and friendly service.

We buy our from Universal Framing Products. Two sizes, one that fits Nielsen # 5 and the other an adjustable that fits either #15 or #22 depending on how you fold it.

They come 1000 corners per box and are shippable by UPS. Discount for two or more boxes.

Uline for shipping supplies

Don't know how the price compares with LJ or United, but I get my shipping and packing supplies from http://www.uline.com, including tape, frame & mirror shipping boxes, convoluted foam, bubble wrap, gold foil laser labels--and corner protectors.

Corner protectors are available in foam or cardboard, in a couple of sizes, starting for something like $35 for 400. You do have to fold these yourself.

Make them yourself out of extra foam core, Blue board-grey board or corogated(the acid free stuff holds up better) if you are installing them that is. It is very easy, could make a template out of plexi in order to have them all correct. A good way to get rid of scraps.

What is wrong with United?

It would appear you need 1200 corners for 300 frames. We have them priced at $6.70 per hundred for quantities of 1000-4,999. We have them in our Las Vegas warehouse and can get them to you quickly. Call and you will have them asap.

Too late to call NY today. Are yours prefolded? Trying to keep the labor down on this job.
Thanks

Did I miss the punchline? This product is as close to free as any other we use. They take 8 to 10 seconds to fold one. I know that I'm known for sarcasm, but is this real? What would postage alone cost on 1200 prefolded corners? Have you ever used em before? Seriously, I'm not understanding something.

Maybe this is or isn't the place for this but I'll bury it here. If United says they're out of something, then you can request that they check all werehouses. They can often get the order elsewhere. I'm not sure why they don't check this before telling you they are out but I'm sure there is a good reason for it. Now ATG, on the other hand, rarely seems to turn up elsewhere.

Carry on.

No Jay, we don't usually use them, but we have a large job to do in a short amount of time, and need to pack for shipping, so I was just wondering....seems like they are so cheap I may as well get them prefolded with free lj delivery and let my framers work on the actual job.

Pre folded corners

I am sorry but ours are shipped flat and not pre-folded. Since we do not deliver it is not possible for us to send them pre-folded. If we shipped them pre-folded it would drive the shipping cost up for oversized packaging. Our corners are die cut with the folds impressed for ease of use.
