Had a customer come in today...she just found out that the deck the walls at the mall she used just went out of business...they have done all her framing and canvas transfers...she has a poster to do now...who does this?? and how do you do the pricing for this...shes already hinting about not wanting to pay much...

sometimes I wonder if someone replaced my sign overnight with a flea market or consignment store sign

I have 2 pricing methods---when I do it & when I send out to a local place that does this as their biz----I add on 25-30% to their price(phone call for size/price--NO website) for 2-15 mile trips(drop off/pick up)....my price=shop labor(1 hr for 'normal' sizes) + firing up the press + the supplies----all vary with the shop/area. if you havent done these yet---PRACTICE on small/med/large BEFORE you do customers stuff!!!!!!!!!! you will find that there is a 'trick' to affixing the print to the canvas---sometimes really wants to wrinkle(& there's NO WAY to 'fix' that!!!!) lol

Since Old Grange Graphics went belly up, I have contacted Almost Originals. I have yet to have anything done by them so I cannot vouch for their quality. But, unlike a lot of canvas transfer outfits, they will take and transfer outside works.

Contact Allen Borshow at Almost Originals. He will send or fax over a price sheet.

Actually, if you have a heat press, you can do this yourself and make some extra money.

The first few will be slow going just like anything else but after you do a dozen or so you will have it down.

I started with a kit I bought from United that teaches you how to transfer.

The help desk at Seal/Hunt/Beinfang in Statesville NC is very helpful too. They even speak our language.
